Who this is for

This policy covers the Auto Scroll extension and the site at auto-scroll.vercel.app, including sign-in, trial, and the $10 checkout. If you only visit the homepage and never sign in, we are not creating an account for you.

What we collect

Google sign-in. When you tap Continue with Google, Google sends us an account id and your email, through Supabase Auth. That is how we know it is you. We do not ask for Gmail, Drive, contacts, or anything else in your Google account.

License. We store when your 3-day trial started, whether you paid, and Stripe’s checkout session id (and customer id if Stripe gives us one). That is so Start stays unlocked after you pay, on this browser and the next.

Payment. Card numbers go to Stripe, not to us. We never see the full card. Stripe’s own policy applies to the checkout page.

Optional feedback. If you send feedback, we store the use you picked, any short note, the extension version, and the time. The form says it is sent with no name attached. We still know which signed-in account sent it in the database, so we can ignore spam. We do not publish that link.

On your computer only. Speed, Read/Feed, direction, and a cached license sit in Chrome storage on the device. That does not go to our servers unless you sign in (license) or send feedback.

What we do not collect

• URLs of the pages you scroll
• The text, images, or cookies on those pages
• Your browsing history
• Keystrokes, other than the shortcuts that start, stop, or change speed
• Advertising identifiers

The extension asks Chrome for the current tab only so it can tell you when Chrome has locked the page (Web Store, chrome://, PDF, sleeping tab). We do not log that URL.

Why

Sign-in and license: so the trial and the $10 unlock work.

Stripe: so we can take one payment and mark you paid.

Feedback: only if you send it, so we can improve Auto Scroll.

We do not use this data to advertise. We do not sell it. We do not share it for others to advertise.

Who processes it

• Google — sign-in
• Supabase — account, license, optional feedback
• Stripe — checkout
• Vercel — this website and the checkout/webhook APIs

Those companies see what they need to run their service. We do not hand your data to anyone else, except if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

License and account stay until you ask us to delete them, or you delete the Google access and we remove the row. Feedback stays so we can see patterns; we can delete your rows if you ask. Stripe keeps payment records under their rules.

Delete it

Email the address on the Chrome Web Store listing, from the Google account you used to sign in, and ask us to delete your Auto Scroll account. We will remove your license and feedback rows. Uninstalling the extension removes the copy on that computer; it does not by itself delete the server account.

Children

Auto Scroll is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think we have, write us and we will delete it.

Chrome permissions

storage — speed, mode, and license cache on the device.
identity — Google sign-in.
tabs, activeTab, scripting — talk to the tab in front of you so Start works, and say when Chrome will not allow it.
supabase.co and vercel.app — account, license, checkout. Not other sites’ data.

All extension code ships in the zip. We do not load extra scripts from the network.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and the date at the top. The current version is always at auto-scroll.vercel.app/privacy.
